I’m seven months old today. I’ve been in Kentucky this past week for Christmas, and I met my little cousin Bobby. I like looking at him because he’s so small. I got lots of clothes and some stuffed animals and this big plastic top and a big stuffed bear that I love. My mom and dad are here and we’ve been playing a lot. I like Kentucky but I miss my cats I guess. But there are dogs here and they’re cool I guess. I like to look at them.
There’s lots of people here and it gets real loud sometimes. It’s scary, but I can deal with it because I’m a big girl now. Seven months old.

I’ve been having a lot of fun recently. There are a lot of games I like to play. I like the one where my mom or dad starts across the room and slowly comes to get me, and I like the one where I throw toys on the ground and they keep picking them up. But my favorite new game is “Peek-a-boo”.
They started by hiding on me and jumping out to yell “peek-a-boo!”. I’d laugh and laugh and laugh. But when I can get ahold of something to hide behind, they don’t have to do the hiding. I do the hiding.
My dad took a video of me hiding from my Omi and my mommy. You can watch it here on the tubes. Now that I’ve mastered peek-a-boo, I’m thinking about trying out for an ice hockey team. Or maybe curling.

This weekend, my Omi left. I miss her a whole lot. She’s been with me my whole life and now she went away. I’m sad. She used to come get me every morning when I woke up and she’d give me baths and she’d feed me and put me to bed sometimes. I miss her a whole lot.
My mom and dad gave me some stuff this weekend called rice cereal and apple sauce. It’s really weird cause it’s so thick I can’t drink it. Mom or dad will put the stuff on this “spoon” thing then try to put the spoon thing in my mouth, and I’ll suck the stuff off the spoon only I haven’t really gotten the hang of it yet. Mostly the stuff ends up on my face and on my bib and on the tray of the seat I’m in.
Dad says next week I’m getting a steak. I wonder what that’ll be like. Solid food is weird.
