Right now, I’m in a faraway land called Florida. I thought it was gonna be magical or something, but it’s pretty much the same as home, except I get to spend all day with mommy and Omi. Maybe that is magical.

We got here in a plane - it was small inside and we all had to sit around and wait in the plane for a long time before we could be in Florida, and then my ears hurt and I cried a little. But then we got out and it was Florida.

I went in some water yesterday that was bigger than my bathtub at home. The water was so big that mommy and Omi could all fit in with me. But I didn’t stay in the water for a long time cause it was a lot colder than my bath.

I haven’t seen my dad here in the magical land of Florida. I don’t know where he is. But at least my mom and Omi are still here. Cause I like them.

Guess what? I’ve got hands! I’m not really completely sure how they work yet, but I’ve been working on grabbing things, and I’m starting to get better at it. I don’t know much about how to use the fingers yet, and I’m still struggling with binocular vision, but grabbing things is fun. I like to grab my toys, grab the front of my shirt, and grab my stuffed animals and shove them into my face. They’re real soft. Of course, sometimes I have trouble grabbing things to put in my mouth, so I just try to bring my face to the things. Omi and the ‘rents always laugh when they come by and I’ve got my face shoved into something. Hey - that sounds like a song. O-O-O-Omi and the ‘rents…

I’m also starting to get a bit better at talking. I can say “Aaaooooo”, “Eeeeeee!”, and “Ellra”. I’m not sure what any of those mean yet.

Mom and Dad bought me a new toy yesterday, and it’s amazing. I didn’t know things like this existed. I don’t even know what to call it, but it’s got this cockpit in the middle for me, and all these intricate little machines and gadgets and electronics all around me. It’s probably the most advanced computer system ever designed. I haven’t figured out what they all do yet, but I figure once I master all the controls I’ll be the most powerful baby ever.
