Routine

January16

Lia Jan 12 08It’s wintertime now, and I’ve got a routine. Every day, I wake up between 5:45 and 6:15 and mommy or daddy brings me downstairs. I hang out with mommy until daddy gets out of the shower, then I go in the high chair and daddy feeds me a bottle and then some solid food while mommy gets ready. I usually eat grain cereal and fruit, like peaches, pears, and prunes. I only like fruit that starts with P. But I don’t like peas. Cause they’re not fruit.

After I eat, daddy brings me upstairs and I get lotion and then I get dressed. Mommy has to pick out my clothes the night before cause otherwise daddy might put something on me that doesn’t match. Daddy says it’s amazing that he’s able to pick out his own clothes.

Then I go to stay with Laura and the other big kids during the day which is a lot of fun. At the end of the day, mommy picks me up and daddy comes home and we all play for a while. I’ve got these great new squishy blocks now that my auntie Regina got me that are a lot of fun. And a Chicken Dance Elmo that I like that my dad says is hideous. But I don’t know what that means.

After that, it’s bedtime and I get more lotion while mommy or daddy puts my pajamas on. I want to go to bed by 6:30, but my parents don’t let me go to bed until 7 or 7:30 cause they don’t like it when I wake up at 4:30AM. So when they put me in my crib and give me my pacifier I usually smile, roll to the side, and grab my soft blankie. I’m asleep in less than a minute.

And that’s my routine. Oh – by the way, if you want to watch a video of me playing while my mom makes me laugh, click here. Bye!
